Club Night Notes – 10th July 2017

If you were one of the many members that came to the Club night this evening.  Thank you!  It was great seeing so many members and indeed to meet our two latest Members, Bob and Shaun – Welcome!

There were no Certificates to hand out, however I’m aware that we’ll have one or two to present next month.

Further Training

Your test is really not the end  of your IAM Journey!  Our Observers are always happy to take you out for further observed runs if you feel your skills need brushing up for any reason.  Alternatively you  may decide you want to take your Test again to go for a F1rst or even train to do your MASTERS, whatever the case there is always some help and assistance we can provide.  All you need to do is approach Geoff Salt or Kieron Shanks who will be able to help you further.

Upcoming Events

We have one event of our own on the table

Sunday 23rd July – Group Ride to RAF Cosford Museum.  Entry is £5

Meeting at 10.00am at Markeaton McDonalds.

Further details from Gordon Constable – 07970 691716.

I’m advised the costs above include a Food Fair.  If you only want to enter the museum I believe entry is free, however I would advise on checking their website for clarification if required.

Our Friends at the Nottingham Advanced Motorcyclists have their event running a little later that week.

Wednesday 26th July 2016 – NAM Annual Barbecue and pre-Barbecue Rideout

There is a Rideout before to do the North Nottinghamshire Circuit.  Meeting at 6pm Arnold McDonalds.  If you wish to attend please email Steve Wynn at rides@nottsam.org.uk

Their Barbecue commences at 8pm Vale Social Club at a cost of £6 per head.  Again if you want to attend this event, please contact Ian Gibson (iangnottm@gmail.com) directly to advise you will be attending in order that they can plan for numbers!  Please make sure you don’t leave it too long before confirming as they have set a deadline of 17th July to confirm final numbers.
