DAM Club Night – November 2014
Present: About 22 members
- A very warm welcome to everyone tonight. There was nobody attending for the first time.
- I am very sorry to announce that Annie’s brother passed away earlier today after his battle with cancer. Please join me in sending Annie our heartfelt best wishes.
- Tonight is a free night, we have no guest speakers this month

- December 2014 club night we have The Automobile Association (The AA) coming to visit us to offer advice on what to do in the event of a breakdown or emergency, and how their patrols can help
- Toy run is on Sunday 21 December. Meet at 09:30hrs at Markeaton McDonalds. Full details are on our website. In cars if the weather is poor please, FREE car parking is available at the hospital
- January 2015 club night we will have a talk from two group members who have recently returned from a motorcycle trip in Africa
- 2015 club nights will be debated by committee on 08 December and I will inform everyone of the outcome thereafter

- Thank you to everyone who has started to pay their club subs for 2015. Subs are due in January 2015. Still just £10, payable in cash, cheque or direct debit. By way of a comparison, Derby RoSPA subs are £25 per annum.
- If you have very recently joined DAM, there may be no need to pay £10 again for 2015. We will be debating the issue in committee on 08 December 2014 to decide the cut-off date. I will communicate the outcome to all group members in due course.

- I have lots of IAM marketing material here for you to take away with you. You can do your bit for the club by handing these out wherever you travel in the county and further afield. There are also other leaflets that I collected at the national conference recently. In the new year, I shall be organising a group ride out to Bike Stop in Hertfordshire
