Wow – what a great day! 33 people on 30 bikes from the IAM and RoSPA groups joined forces to ride the Rutland TT route around Leicestershire. It was great to see everyone mixing so well together. Our bond with RoSPA is growing ever stronger and is set to last. My thanks to everyone who came along and supported this event. You are all true ambassadors of our great club and I am very proud of you all.
The weather was mostly fine despite a damp start. At least it wasn’t too wet. The 120-mile route included some stunning roads throughout Leicestershire, with a couple of stops to refresh along the way. The group was only split up once, which is a testament to how well everyone rode and the planning by our ride leader, Shabbana Elnor (Shabs) from RoSPA.
We will do more with our friends at RoSPA, so if you missed this trip hopefully you can make the next one.
