On Sunday 22 March, we were proud to join partners, Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Constabulary, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service, East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Derbyshire Blood Bikes, Mental Health Motorbike, The Air Ambulance Service at The Grand Pavilion in Matlock Bath to help kick off the 2026 biking season. With the sunshine drawing most riders out onto the roads, footfall was lighter than expected—but the conversations were quality.
We still met plenty of enthusiastic bikers keen to sharpen their road awareness and develop their two‑wheeled skills. If all goes well, we’ll be welcoming a dozen or so new riders to the DAM community.
