Machine Control Training Event at Darley Moor Sports Centre

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting another Machine Control Training Event at Darley Moor Sports Centre.
This event is organised by RoSPA and is open to non-members (including DAM). The cost is £25 per person, payable on the day of the event. Please remember that all motorcycles must be fully road legal, and it’s mandatory to wear appropriate motorcycle clothing (PPE) to participate.
The training event will take place on Thursday, 28 August 2025, at Darley Moor Raceway near Ashbourne (DE6 2ET). We will have access to sections of the track, providing ample space to conduct 5-6 machine control exercises. These exercises will cover skills such as slow riding, machine control, braking, and mobility. Additionally, we will have access to track welfare facilities, ensuring that everyone stays well-fed and refreshed throughout the session.
The training will be conducted in a safe and supportive environment, with instruction and guidance provided by our dedicated training team. This event is designed to be enjoyable and beneficial for most riders. Please note that this is not track-based training, and there will be no requirement for high speeds.
Itinerary:
• Associate / Student briefing from Tutors starts at 09:30.
• On track activity from approximately 10:00.
• The whole session will last until mid-afternoon, though people are free to leave if they wish or are committed (by families and life) elsewhere.
