Derbyshire Blood Bikes is a registered charity (1143149) providing an urgent medical courier service to the NHS in Derbyshire. Transporting lifesaving medical items including blood and blood products, biological samples and medication. We also transport donated breast milk into the NHS national milk bank, then used to support feeding of premature or seriously ill infants. If we can carry it safely ….. we will transport it!

Nottingham Advanced Motorcyclists formed in 1989 with the aim of improving road safety for motorcyclists in the Nottinghamshire area. We are a registered charity (number 1060035) run by an annually elected committee many of whom are bikers.

We are a UK Registered Charity (1155983) run entirely by unpaid volunteers. Our aim is to provide an out-of-hours, emergency transport service to the NHS, delivering blood and other urgent medical items between hospitals in and around Nottinghamshire.

It is the early hours of the morning and a hospital urgently requires blood. Currently hospitals within Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire have little choice but to call a local taxi/courier company to collect and deliver the blood. And the hospital would be charged between £200 and £300 per trip! That’s where we intend to help! Registered Charity Number: 1156212.
